My name is Gayeon Kim, and I am a junior in the BFA 3D Animation and Visual Effects at the School of Visual Arts. I was born and raised in Korea, and I am currently studying in New York. I specialize in Look Development including modeling, texturing, and lighting. I create characters and environment scenes with compelling stories and apply textures that best convey these stories.

I draw inspiration from many things including animations, films, and everything around me. My favorite animation is Coraline and I also enjoy watching live-action movies and series like Stranger Things.

Besides animations, I love watching baseball games, traveling around, and reading novels. I also like listening to music and capturing moments with my film camera :)
